When you’re part of town or community you are drawing from a limited number of potential customers. You can’t just rely on footfall or people stumbling across your page. Working with other businesses is counter intuitive to some people, especially when they are the competition but it is proven to work. Any crossover helps share communities and followers both ways, if you’re frightened of losing customers you’re not thinking about your business in the right way. Sharing space helps you into new ways of thinking about your product, new markets and multiplies your reach for every post. Special offers, collaborations all based on customers interactions with you can really help improve the customer experience. In time you will find other businesses coming to you with ideas, sharing your posts and in turn bringing you new business.


And as always, set aside time to assess and improve this strategy regularly.
